NDIS Mental Health Toolkit

NDIS Mental Health Toolkit

The NDIS Mental Health Toolkit is designed to help you advocate for yourself—whether you’re applying for the NDIS or have already been accepted.

Key Features:

  • Contains information and worksheets to help you understand your rights and speak up for yourself under the NDIS’ psychosocial disability stream.

  • Co-designed with people who have lived experience with the mental health system and the NDIS, ensuring it meets real needs.

  • Suitable for:

    • Individuals with psychosocial and/or physical disabilities,

    • Supporters—such as carers, kin, family, friends, community members, or support workers.

  • Flexible use—you can work through the toolkit start to finish, or jump directly to sections that suit your needs.

  • For privacy, the toolkit does not save your entries. You can use the print button on each page to save your responses as PDF if you wish.

  • It includes sections like:

    • “Before applying for the NDIS”

    • “If you’ve been accepted onto the NDIS”
